The Chellaram Group
Anand Mahajani currently heads Education and Philanthropy for the Chellaram Group, with business interests in international shipping, and manufacturing. The Chellaram Group is involved with Philanthropic activities founded since 70 years. The Philanthropic direction includes Education, Environment and Health among others. Within the group, Anand has been supporting causes including education and green energy.
Earlier Anand was head of Corporate Sustainability, CSR and Health and Safety functions for a leading Indian company, that was part of a large renowned corporate group. Anand is an engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi and Masters in Marketing Management from Mumbai University. Social and Environmental work is close to his heart.

Based in Hong Kong, Doug is the Founder of Ocean Recovery Alliance, a non-profit organisation focused on bringing innovation solutions, technology, collaborations and policy together to impact positive improvements for the health of the ocean. He was the winner of the prestigious 2018 Prince Albert Prize for Innovative Philanthropy for his work with the ocean.
Doug is also a co-founder of CAPP!

Professor Parulekar has been with GIM for 20 years; prior to which he worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Brand Management. He did his B. Pharm from Goa College of Pharmacy, M .Pharm from LM College of Pharmacy, MBA from NMIMS Mumbai and MSc in Health Economics from the London School of Economics. He has completed his PhD in
Marketing from the University of Pune. He has taught in various esteemed institutions such
as SP Jain Mumbai, MICA Ahmedabad, IIM Rohtak, University of Antwerp in Belgium, Kansas University in the US and Southampton University in England. He has consulted with various organisations including Govt of Goa, UNDP, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Cummins
Auto Services, ACGL, Astra Zeneca and Indiapost.

Mr. Vijay Merchant has been a senior member
of the Indian plastic industry with over 5 decades of rich experience. Due to his sincere
commitments to the processing sector and also plastics and the environment he has been a spokesman and representative of the industry for almost 3 decades . He has been at the helm of Environment Committee of Plastindia Foundation and one of the main founders of Indian Center for Plastics in Environment. He has delivered scores of lectures in India and overseas , travelled across all continents and invited as Guest Speaker, participated in debates, worked on several government appointed committees and
task forces. He has helped steer projects on recycling and waste across India working with NGOs , Start ups, Recyclers and Entrepreneurs . He was President of All India Plastic Manufactures Association, President of India Plastics Institute besides working on Advisory Boards and an Independent Director in several companies and bodies during his long career.
